Ben K.
Branch Manager
In August 2024, Ben K. started his Enterprise Mobility career in New Albany, Indiana as a Management Trainee. From the beginning, he embraced the fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment and the organization’s commitment to internal growth opportunities. In January 2025, Ben earned a promotion into the Top Gun Program at Louisville Muhammed Ali International Airport in Kentucky. He quickly advanced to Management Assistant in April 2025 and, just two months later, stepped into his first Assistant Branch Manager role. Ben’s momentum continued through October 2025, when he returned to the airport as an Assistant Branch Manager. In March of 2026, Ben took his most recent step forward in leadership as a Branch Rental Manager in Shepherdsville, KY—an achievement that reflects both his professional dedication and the organization's commitment to internal mobility.
Through hands-on experience, strong leadership support, and clear paths to promotion, new team members are empowered to continuously develop their skills and advance in their unique career journeys. Read on to learn how the skills Ben gained as a college athlete have translated into career growth with Enterprise Mobility.
Like many Enterprise Mobility team members, Ben was introduced to the company through a trusted connection—a former college baseball teammate. That firsthand insight into the company’s high-performing culture and opportunities played a key role in his decision to apply.
Ben said, “Enterprise Mobility’s goal-driven environment stood out immediately. With branches and teams continuously striving to outperform goals and benchmarks, the organization provides an atmosphere that mirrors the motivation found in athletics. It’s an ideal fit for those who turn pressure into performance and enjoy pushing themselves to succeed.”
Bringing an Athletic Mindset to the Workplace“The memories of my days playing baseball at Marietta College are definitely ones that I will never forget; and my teammates are friends that I'll have for the rest of my life.”
Before joining Enterprise Mobility, Ben played as a starting catcher in his junior and senior years of college. He was part of a program that reached the Division III College World Series and captured two conference championships and two regional titles. Ben’s dedication and performance on the field earned him ABCA All‑Defensive Team regional honors. More importantly, the experience instilled skills that translated seamlessly into his career at Enterprise Mobility: discipline, accountability, resilience, and leadership.
By coaching through challenges and celebrating wins, leaders like Ben bring the same energy and positive mindset to the workplace that they once brought to the dugout.
“Baseball is a team sport; you can't win the game with just one person. Enterprise Mobility is the same. A branch can't succeed if everyone isn't playing their part. Drive, attitude, and leadership are all things I gained from college athletics that have transferred to my career.
Incentivizing my team to succeed in and out of the office is the same as motivating my baseball team to win. Nothing makes me happier than when I see team members, Management Trainees, and Interns achieve their goals and receive their next promotions.”
Strengthening Relationships Beyond WorkEnterprise Mobility’s emphasis on teamwork extends beyond the office. While working at Louisville Muhammed Ali International Airport, Ben and his colleagues formed a basketball team and played in the Louisville Parks and Recreation League. Made up of both former college basketball players and other college athletes who love the game, the team quickly found its competitive spirit and translated that into wins on the court.
“Just as we thought, we immediately hit the ground running, and our basketball team found success on the court. By combining our athleticism and our shared drive outside of work, we were able to win the championship game and bring home the trophy! Mine is proudly displayed at work.”
Ben’s advice to others interested in a career with Enterprise Mobility is: “If you're looking to gain real world skills, this is an organization that will give you the tools to grow! It is a place where you can be yourself, have fun, find new teammates, and celebrate your success.”
A supportive, results-driven culture rooted in professional development and internal mobility is what draws new team members to Enterprise Mobility—and it’s the same culture that continues to fuel their successes today. With leaders who understand the path to growth because they’ve walked it themselves, Enterprise Mobility empowers managers like Ben to advance with confidence, purpose, and momentum.
